In just a short 4 days, the inaugural edition of the Intensity Music Festival will be taking over Arlington, VA this Sunday. With an eclectic line-up of The Devil Wears Prada, Demon Hunter, The Word Alive and rare appearances by Maylene And The Sons Of Disaster and Jamie’s Elsewhere it’s incredible how this festival can host a line-up of this impressive caliber. It will be a ground-breaking event on Sunday where the first-ever, as the festival’s slogan suggests, “Virginia’s Premier Post-Hardcore & Metal Showcase” will take place. Growing up in Northern Virginia, where most of the music scene is primarily dominated by the pop/hip-hop/EDM scene, it’s a breath of fresh air to see an event of this magnitude to take place to really bring metal and post-hardcore into the local scene. The action all goes down this Sunday at The Triple A Pavilion in Arlington, VA, so if you haven’t picked up a ticket yet, you can pick them up at this location. RichardThinks will be there, will you?
