At The Gates Reunite For New Record

Swedish melodic death metal legends At the Gates have confirmed after much speculation that they will indeed be releasing a new album this year, on their new label Century Media. After several years of sporadic live appearances and uncertainty as to their future, the band have confirmed their reunion will extend to recording fifth studio album ‘At War With Reality’, targeted for a release in late 2014.

The band teased fans with the prospect of a return through cryptic YouTube videos, which can be viewed here. A statement from the band reads that “the plan is to record the album in June/July with a tentative release in October / November of 2014 on Century Media Records.”
