Within The Ruins Begin Recording New Album

Within The Ruins are confirmed to have begun recording their brand new, thus far untitled LP, guitarist Joe Cocchi engineering and producing once more.

Jason Suecof (All That Remains, August Burns Red) has been tapped to mix the new album, tentatively targeted for a summer release. It will be the follow up to the critically acclaimed “Elite”, described by Metal Hammer as “precise, brutal and bursting with great songs”.

After initial sessions in Cocchi’s studio, vocal production will take place at Josh Wickman’s Dreadcore Studios. Cocchi states:

“This is the most time we have ever had to focus on writing. There are a ton of new aspects to this material. We are always aiming to create the most interesting and refreshing music that we are capable of, and I think we have finally been able to accomplish that with this album.”
