The 5th edition of the Glamour Kills Tour made it’s way to Baltimore, MD this past Tuesday with New Found Glory headlining with support from We Are The In Crowd, Fireworks, and Candy Hearts.

Having released their latest effort, “Oh, Common Life”, and supported The Wonder Years this past spring, the Glamour Kills served as a perfect channel to keep the momentum up for the album. While a large majority of their set included songs from “Oh, Common Life”, the group managed to fit in older cuts such as “Detroit” and “Arrows”. “Oh, Common Life” is available now through Triple Crown Records.

The last time We Are The In Crowd played Rams Head Live was in 2012 as the second band in a bill of four supporting Yellowcard and The Wonder Years. Fast forward to the present and the group are now serving as direct support for New Found Glory. 2014 has proven to be a fantastic year for the Poughkeepsie, NY quintet since the release of the group’s latest release, “Weird Kids” and the aforementioned history of the group’s growth definitely proves that. Blending songs from all three of their releases, We Are The In Crowd provided a fantastic set to warm up Baltimore for New Found Glory. The group’s sophomore album, “Weird Kids”, is out now through Hopeless Records and our review of the album is available for viewing. Our photo gallery of the group’s winter headlining tour from earlier this year is also available for viewing.

Being no stranger to the city of Baltimore, New Found Glory took the stage and quickly caught the attention of everybody in the venue.  They quickly matched the energy of the crowd from their opening song “Selfless” followed by “Understatement” where the audience got even more energetic with crowd surfing coming from every direction. As the band left the stage and everyone thought the show was over, the band came out and played a 5 song encore which included “Sonny,” “Stories of a Different Kind,” “Forget My Name,” “Intro” and finally “All Downhill From Here.”  The entire set was very diverse from their old to new materials which resulted in a great show. Hopefully next time New Found Glory returns to Baltimore they bring Scott Vogel to perform his part on the title track of “Resurrection”, one can dream right? “Resurrection” is out now through Hopeless Records while the Glamour Kills Tour continues on until the tour wraps up in Santa Cruz, CA.
